This course explores what play really is in the early years and why it is central to children’s learning and development.

It supports practitioners to understand different types of play, the adult’s role within play, and how meaningful learning happens through playful experiences.

Designed for practitioners, apprentices, and leaders who want to strengthen practice and confidently explain the value of play in everyday provision.
